- Packraft equipment per person: a waterproof backpack containing a packraft, a paddle, a raft inflation bag and a life jacket. You can also carry a few personal items in the backpack;

Day 1
After the morning briefing, you inflate your packraft and start the rafting tour on the Semois. You paddle from the base camp to the chateau (castle) ‘Dohan’ in the village of the same name. After lunch, you pack up your raft and hike back to base camp. You will pass several beautiful spots on this hike. Once you arrive at the base camp, you have the option of eating a pizza. To round off this beautiful day, we end it around the campfire.

Day 2
You start this day with a beautiful hike. You hike from the base camp to the castle ‘The Counts of Herbeumont’ in the village of the same name. There is a viewpoint near the castle from where you have a marvelous view of the surrounding area. This is also the ideal place to have lunch. After lunch, you will inflate the packraft and set off on a fantastic ‘paddle tour’ that will take you back to base camp.

Camping Saint Remacle
Camping Saint Remacle, located on the idyllic Semois river in the Belgian Ardennes, is the perfect basecamp for a packraft trip. Surrounded by pristine nature, this camping site offers an ideal base for adventurous travelers who want to explore the beautiful Semois with their packraft. The campground is right on the river, which makes it especially easy to get right out on the water after a comfortable night in your tent.
The basecamp has excellent facilities for packrafters, including space to store and prepare your equipment. The camp has a relaxed and adventurous atmosphere, perfect for those who want to recover in a peaceful setting after a day on the water.
After your packraft adventure, a visit to nearby Bouillon is a perfect conclusion should you wish to do so.
