Difficulty level
Medium: If you are sporty and have a reasonable basic condition, you can do this outdoor activity ‘easy’. During this packraft trip there are also plenty of opportunities for breaks to enjoy the beautiful views.

Day 1
After the morning briefing, you inflate your packraft and start the rafting tour on the Semois. You paddle from the base camp to the chateau (castle) ‘Dohan’ in the village of the same name. After lunch, you pack up your raft and hike back to base camp. You will pass several beautiful spots on this hike. Once you arrive at the base camp, you have the option of eating a pizza. To round off this beautiful day, we end it around the campfire.

Day 2
You start this day with a beautiful hike. You hike from the base camp to the castle ‘The Counts of Herbeumont’ in the village of the same name. There is a viewpoint near the castle from where you have a marvelous view of the surrounding area. This is also the ideal place to have lunch. After lunch, you will inflate the packraft and set off on a fantastic ‘paddle tour’ that will take you back to base camp.

Camping Saint Remacle
The two-day packraft trip offers an adventure experience with an overnight stay at basecamp. This camping area, located along the river, acts as the start and end point of the trip and is equipped with basic facilities such as toilets and showers. Here are some important points to keep in mind:
Basecamp Amenities
- Toilets and showers: Basic sanitation facilities are available.
- Camping equipment: You can bring your own equipment or rent inexpensively from basecamp.
- Equipment storage: Your equipment stays at basecamp while you bring only the essentials for the packraft tour.
